Ship-to-Shore.net was created as a way for the military to create a revenue tool for the MWR (Morale, Welfare & Recreation) Fund, and have an easier way for families of servicemembers to find emblematic items.

Since ships do not typically stock items the general public might want like mugs and hats and shirts, Ship-to-Shore.net is a private vendor skilled in creating and delivering a wide variety of emblematic items, on behalf of the Navy. Ship-to-Shore.net has agreed to provide 10% of every sale to the Navy, which is then provided to the MWR Fund for each ship represented in item sales.
